With 12+ years of experience in education, I have had the privilege of supporting children at various stages of their development, and I believe that every child has unique strengths waiting to be unlocked. I am deeply committed to meeting students where they are, both emotionally and academically, and providing them with the tools, encouragement, and personalized support they need to reach their full potential. Over the past four years at Queen Anne Elementary, I’ve had the honor of being part of this vibrant and nurturing community, and it continues to be a place of deep fulfillment for me. It’s not just about teaching—it’s about building relationships, fostering a love for learning, and empowering students to believe in their abilities. I’ve seen firsthand how tapping into each child’s individual strengths and developmental needs can lead to profound growth and self-confidence. Outside of the classroom, I love spending time with my family and friends, enjoying a good cup of coffee, watching baseball, and even flying kites whenever I get the chance. The energy of a ballpark, especially the unwavering spirit of the Seattle Mariners, continuously reminds me of the importance of persistence and the excitement of reaching new heights—principles I try to instill in my students every day. I’m excited to continue this journey at QAE and look forward to another year of growth, discovery, and shared joy.
